HORRIBLE TRAGEDY IN SERBIA: DEAD-DRUNK DRIVER killed a girl (13) ON ZEBRA CROSSING!
The driver was detained up to 48 hours
A 13-year-old girl from the town of Blace was killed last night, February 28, while she was going over a zebra crossing.

She was hit by a VolksWagen Golf car, and behind the wheel was N.B. (24); the girl died due to sustained injuries.
The driver was detained up to 48 hours, and more details will be known later.
Unofficially, the driver had 2.5 units of alcohol in his blood.
Heavily intoxicated, he continued driving after hitting the girl and then stopped after some 200 yards.
He got out of the car like nothing had happened.
Police came very quickly to the crime scene, identified the vehicle and arrested the driver.
- Everything happened in a blink of an eye, and it looked horrible. The girl was going over the crossing, the car hit her and continued moving. It was horrible - said the witness.
We found out that the girl was an only child and that her parents had waited 12 years to get her.
N.B. lives just a couple of streets from their family house.
