SHE WAS PREGNANT, AND THEN SHE FOUND OUT ABOUT THE TERRIBLE TRUTH: Doctors pulled a 8 kg tumor out of her stomach and daughter Sofija!

Aneta Jakimovksa from Skopje got the happy news with the frighting information that she has a cyst on her ovary about 8 centimeters in diameter and no one knows how it will behave during the pregnancy.

Despite all of that, Aneta, with the gynecologist consultations decided to take the risk, and two weeks ago gave birth to a healthy little girl Sofija. 

Together with the baby, which came ti this world with Caesarean section, doctors took a giant tumor which grew in the meantime to half a meter and had 8 kilograms.

This was a very rare case that this big cyst is taken out at the same time when the labor is performed. 

- We made a small horizontal cut, took out the baby and then the tumor. Baby is healthy, and the patient took the surgery very well. The tumor has been taken out completely and it hasn't spilled around the womb, which is very important. Analysis of the removed tumor showed that it is a very rare cyst, luckily benign. The ability of giving birth again has been saved - said Dr Zoran Jovanovski, who performed the delivery and removing of the giant tumor.

Little Sofija was born with 48 centimeters and weighting 2.350 grams.
