Nebojsa Stefanovic, Minister of Interior, paid the respect for the police officers killed during the NATO bombing of Serbia. He added that their courage and sacrifice must never be forgotten.

- Whenever times got tough, Serbian police officers stood at the first line of defense. They were always relentless and fearless, putting lives of others before their own - said Stefanovic who then laid the flowers on the memorial to the victims of bombing in Knez Milos street.
- They were the synonym for courage, determination and decisiveness. We pay our respects to all the victims in the Ministry of Interior, especially remembering the police officers that died in March, April, May and June - said Stefanovic.
