Incredible -36 degrees in Belgrade in 1929, but Petar swims (PHOTO)

People from Belgrade were a bit braver it seems than us now

People in Belgrade have a hard time coping with low temperatures. They dress in multiple layers and spend as little time they have to outside.

However, in 1929, on temperatures below -36 degrees, people from Belgrade were swimming in frozen Danube. And posed for pictures with smile on their faces.

No one was home, not even the children, they enjoyed the snow.

Blizzards were significantly larger back then and streets impassable.

Precisely because of that, people were much more self-organized, and instead of mechanization, they cleaned the snow themselves.
