Serbia is now an official candidate to host the Athletic World Indoor Championship in year 2020!

President of European Athletics thrilled with the organization of the European Championships in Belgrade: Serbia has, and has always had top athletes!

China and Poland have confirmed their candidacy. 

The candidacy for the World Championship was a logical move by the leaders of the Athletic Association of Serbia since we proved that we belong in the top of world athletics in March.

Let's recall, our country was a host of the best organized European Indoor championship, and the championship which was officially the most watched one. Serbia submitted its candidacy shortly after, and the president of Athletic Associaton of Serbia Veselin Jevrosimovic said that he is a great optimist.
