- Be aware of the danger and pay attention and follow the latest weather reports. We advise the public to avoid traveling and staying near vulnerable coastal areas. It is very likely that the ferry will not sail, and if you are traveling, track traffic information - says Meteoalarm.

Strong storm from the sea is enough to create first material damage in Split.

The storm was breaking trees and branches, pushed garbage containers in different parts of the city, and it managed to take down the light-pole on the street, reports Dalmacija Danas.

The wind took down trees close to the Zadar primary school Petar Preradovic.

The tree crushed two cars which were parked in near vicinity, the damage is pretty high.

It is pure luck that no one was hurt, reported by Croatian media.
