Nenad Savic, son of Miodrag Savic, who was stuck in a cabin of a truck over the freezing river Morava, told Telegraf what was going on at the highway near Jagodina

- I drove my father to the truck, he was supposed to leave Paracin to for pick up. Ten minutes later, he called me and said: "Son, come quick, I had a crash near Mijatovac, I am hanging over Morava river". I immediately rushed there, and then I saw a truck who smashed through the fence - Nenad Savic from Paracin said to telegraf, whose father Miodrag was saved today after real drama on the highway near Jagodina.

The emergency teams medics, police and firefighters came to the scene and they started making a plan how to get Miodrag out.

- Luckily he was aware. I saw that he was scared, but he kept the situation under control. After all, he is a former firefighter and he didn't allow fear to overcome. I wasn't feeling the best, of course, I knew the truck was barely holding on. I was trying to keep his thoughts busy - Nenad Savic explains.

That is when my father told me what actually happened on the highway near Cuprija.

- The road had snow on it and it was just slippery, so he lost control. He had a crazy luck for the truck to stop like that. Half a meter more and he would end up in the river. That is why he told me that God saved him - Savic told us.

- He had a high blood pressure. He was cold, but he said that he had no major injuries. I hope that he will come home today so he can recover from this shock - Nenad Savic said.
