Intelligence quotient represents the ratio of the ability of the candidate shown on the test and the age. The average human being has an IQ between 90 and 110. Those whose IQ is between 120 and 140 on Cattell IQ scale are considered gifted. All results above 140 are especially intelligent people.

According to the testing of the intelligence that the Mensa Serbia Association did, the "most intelligent city" in Serbia is Pancevo.

Goran Tomin, President of the Mensa Serbia Testing Commission, explains what is the criterion for Mensa membership.

- It should be emphasized that IQ 148 or higher, which is the Mensa membership criterion, can be achieved by 2% of the general population by definition, so Mensa's goal is to isolate these individuals on their tests. It is therefore difficult to say which city is the most intelligent. However, the city of Pancevo has the highest turnover on our tests, considering the number of inhabitants. Although much smaller, Pancevo has even more candidates than Novi Sad in the tests. Therefore, the number of people who meet the conditions for membership is high - he said.

Our interlocutor points out that there are no rules which population is the most intelligent.

- In an interview, we said that there are highly educated people among the most intelligent individuals, as well as those without education. There is no rule. The test we give measures the intelligence up to IQ 156, according to the Cattell scale, which is achieved by 1% of people. We have so many members and we can never say who is the most intelligent of them, precisely because they all pass the upper threshold of test sensitivity - Tomin explains for our portal.
