- A total of 104,687 people with flu-like illnesses and 29 fatal cases have been reported with the sixth weekly report, and it was confirmed in the laboratory - announced by "Batut" institute.

Loncar explained that the epidemiological situation is in line with the trend of the disease for this time of the year, that in the previous years, there were cases where up to 250 to 300 people died from flu.

The latest death was recorded in Pancevo, where a 50-year-old woman died from the outbreak of influenza in the General Hospital, so the black balance from the beginning of the season increased to 23 deaths.
