A DAY AFTER THE CHAOS IN SKOPJE: New riots are brewing, TONIGHT - expect chaos! (PHOTO)

The Macedonian Ministry of Internal Affairs has not officially commented after last night's protests in which several people were injured and taken in, however, citizens called for a new gathering every day at 6 pm through social media.

A large number of students who joined the civil protest, announced that last night in the reading room of "Braca Miladinovic- Brothers Miladinovic" barged in a group of 50 policemen and threatened students that criminal charges would be filed against them.

In last night's clashes between police and demonstrators in front of the Macedonian Government, 25 police officers were injured, yet pro-government media claim that the violence was caused by demonstrators with a predetermined scenario to the opposition of SDSM.

However, images from the scene prove that the situation was quite different, says portal Plusinfo.

The majority of Macedonian non-governmental media say that the protest was peaceful and non-violent up until the arrival of reinforcements, leading to violent action to suppress the protesters in surrounding streets.

During this action, they say, some of the demonstrators were brutally beaten.

- The pro-government media lies that the action did not use stun grenades and water cannons, even though this can be seen in the photographs from the scene - says this media.

The use of tear gas and water cannons was confirmed by Radio Free Europe, adding that during the protest, police vehicles were vandalized and containers burnt.

Macedonian police conduct raid near Kosovo border

During the protest, demonstrators chanting "Murderers" and "You're done", demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, the Minister of Internal Affairs Gordana Jankulovska and the whole government.
