Serbia's Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday key issues relating to bilateral relations

The officials have noted that the two countries are developing excellent friendly relations, the Serbian government's media relations office said in a release.

Vucic and Al Nahyan also talked about the pending start of construction works on the first facilities within the Belgrade Waterfront project, and the UAE's future investments in Serbia.

The Serbian prime minister also met with the UAE's Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

They discussed bilateral relations, the UAE's investments in Serbia, regional stability, the war in Syria and migrant crisis, reads the release.

Vucic informed the UAE's foreign minister about Serbia's foreign policy activities, advancement in the EU integration process, the situation in the region and economic reforms.

The UAE's foreign minister commended Serbia's prime minister for his courageous decision to go to Srebrenica on July 11 to the commemoration for the Muslim victims, and for the agreements reached as part of the normalization of relations with Pristina.

“We have to work on regional stability so as to improve our economic situation,” Vucic underscored.
