After Serbia closed the borders for the migrants from Afghanistan, around 600 people from that country remained at the refugee center - reported Macedonian media.

However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Macedonia "does not plan to close the borders for the refugees".

Reporters have been informed that the migrants will wait on the border until Serbia and Croatia settle the dispute about treating Afghan people.

As they claim, migrants going back on the same route they had used to go to the EU countries will soon become reality.

Greek Migrations Minister Janis Muzalas stated that Greece will start making diplomatic steps to convince Macedonia to accept the refugees from Afghanistan, because there are several thousand people already waiting in Greece.

According to the Macedonian Telma TV station, the Minister said that Macedonia had broken the agreement from the Brussels made on Friday, 19 February.

The source form the Greek government stated that the solution will probably not be reached during the day.

He said that Greece will take up the Afghans, trying at the same time not to overload the existing capacities.
