According to the information we have, the most critical situation is near the city of Čačak where 500 houses are flooded.

Due to floods roads, schools, and graveyards are flooded, as well as many houses.

Monasteries around this city are under water and the rescue missions have been dispatched to those places.

Roads towards mountain villages are cut.

The manager of the water supply company Zoran Pantović said that another company had started distributing water to 5 cities in central and western Serbia due to a malfunction on the system.

He also said that the break will be repaired shortly but there is a chance of the city of Čačak staying without water for a couple of hours.

Serbian Minister for Emergency situations Velimir Ilić visited the flooded areas, and there is an information that the Prime minister will also visit those places.

Belgrade is also facing the floods at the confluence of Sava and Dunav rivers.

Crisis staff of the city of Peć decided to call off the students today due to abundant rains.

PR of the staff Engelbert Zefaj said for Kosovapress news agency that this situation is a  result of the floods and also because of the infrastructure that cannot deal with that amount of water.

Because of the hydro-system with a dam at the river Jablanica near the city of Valjevo the monastery Valjevska Gračanica is threatened to be flooded.
