Over 80% of them are form Afghanistan and Pakistan, and Europe clearly stated that those people will not receive asylum. They have no intention in asking for asylum in Serbia. - In the past two years more than 1.500 people were arrested for people smuggling... Special teams were formed of the prosecution office and the police who focus on smuggling cases. We will arrest 5.000 more if necessary, but we will show that it doesn't pay out in Serbia - said Stefanovic.

When asked if there were any reaction from Brussels on this decision, Stefanovic said that he sees no reason to be any reactions, when the same regulations are being conducted as in some other countries of EU.
