NEW SCHOOL YEAR STARTS: Around 900.000 pupils will go back to school desks today
Little ones born between 1st March 2009 and 28th February 2010 will start school, which is 1.200 more than last year
New school year 2016/2017 starts today in Serbian elementary and high schools.

Around 900.000 pupils will sit down to their school desks, and 70.000 fill do that for the first time.
Little ones born between 1st March 2009 and 28th February 2010 will start school, which is 1.200 more than last year.
New school year in Vojvodina starts for 226.855 preschoolers and pupils, which is around 500 students less than last year.
According to preliminary data of the Provincial Department of Education, compared with the previous school year, the expected number of children who attend this preparatory preschool program, decreased by 100.
It is expected that the first year of high school enrolled 16,709 students.
The new school year starts in 45 municipalities of Vojvodina, in 44 preschools, in 383 primary schools and 131 secondary schools and all those are ready to welcome the new school year.
