There is no doubt that Vladimir Putin is very popular among Serbs, but so far the most concrete indication that the situation has reached the worship of Russian President comes from a village Hadzinci near Medvedja, whose inhabitants have decided to change the name of the village in Putin!

Russian portal BalkanPru.ru announced that the villagers decided on this because the name of their village dates back to the time of the Turkish government, which is what the villagers never liked.

Residents voted in the Assembly about changing the name of the village , and then made a wooden board with a new name of the village that was neatly carved in one week.

The villagers have decided to show how much they love Vladimir Putin by making new environmental brandy, which they called "putinovaca". As stated by journalist portal Balkan.Pro.ru, they will make it in the future instead of the traditional plum brandy and apricot brandy.

The village used to be Hadzinci, and now, according to the media, with a new name Putin, counts only ten people.

This is not the first time that Serbia pays tribute to the Russian President. There was a Buffet Putin in Novi Sad.
