Vesna Ecim Zlojutro, the Head of the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics, said that her team is on duty informed her that there was a physical altercation on the third floor of the clinic on Tuesday night.

- She is feeling well, as much as she can in the situation uncomfortable as this, unfortunately there are lot of unpleasant situations in her anamnesis. I asked to see her, she had a large scratch which can only be seen if you really look at the inside of the palm, on the middle finger. There are no other signs of injury and she is mentally OK - said Vesna Ecim Zlojutro and added that the patient doesn't want to give statements to the reporters.

Zlojutro said that the attacked woman gave birth to three sons, and she has three more children, two daughters and a son.

Milan Divljak, head of Security service and transport on University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska explained that the man came to visit around 16 PM and stayed after visiting hours. Divljak said that he verbally and physically attacked her common-law wife and he inflicted injuries on her left hand.

It's unknown with what, it's probably some blunt object, we suspect the zipper of a jacket. The security worker reacted and moved him away from the scene and called for police, they arrested him - said Milan Divljak, the head of Security service and transport of University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska.

Banja Luka Public Security Centre confirmed that the attacker was identified and the case will be treated as a criminal offense of domestic violence and family community.
