Nikolic: We won't be targets!

The telephone code for Kosovo is part of the Brussels agreement on Telekom, and Tahiri has, as stated on the website of the Kosovo government, estimated that "it is a historic achievement in the field of Telekom and it strengthens the international subjectivity of Kosovo."

Head of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djuric said earlier that the country code +383 was in property of Serbia and that it has been granted to Kosovo and Metohija as a geographical, not as international area.

Serbia, on the basis of the agreement reached in Brussels, granted phone number +383 to "geographical area of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija", a part of the agreement is that the annex to the technical documentation ITU states that the territory under the name of Kosovo, but with an asterisk and a footnote that reads "This designation is without prejudice to the status in accordance with UNSCR 1244 and the ICJ Opinion on the Kosovo declaration of independence", reports on 13. December the paper Koha, which had access to a letter that was sent to ITU by Serbia.
