They posted this photo on Facebook, and then they regretted it: Four Macedonians are called murderers and monsters, and the punishment will follow
Ana Arsovka from this Association, who takes care about owls and other birds in Macedonia with her husband, can not believe that his massacre of hawks happened
After a real campaign over social networks, two hunters, N.S. (40) and G.M. (39) from Bitola in southern Macedonia, who at the beginning of October praised on Facebook with the image of captured and bound golden eagle, are expecting fines for criminal acts of "animal torture". This warning was not enough for other unscrupulous hunters, so another photo appeared on Facebook these days of four other people posing happily with the entire colony of murdered hawks, birds protected by law.
Have you ever heard of MORAVA CROCODILE? It used to exist!
- They are monsters, are they aware of what they have done. Please help us find them - published on their Facebook profile, the Association of owl protection in Macedonia.
Ana Arsovka from this Association, who takes care about owls and other birds in Macedonia with her husband, can not believe that his massacre of hawks happened.
- The most tragic thing is that this is not the first time it happened. Reckless people kill and poison the birds which are protected by law. Their hunting permits should be taken away from them and their guns, but also, they should be put to trial. Maybe someone has to spend some time in prison so others can see what will happen to them if they play with nature - said Arsovska.
People on social networks, who already identified two out of four hunters (Zuki and Avni) are asking for punishment for the killers of hawk, which are thought to be nature cleaners, saving the crops from rats.
One pair of hawks, in order to feed their nest with hatchlings, hunt up to 10 thousand mice per season.
- We are causing damage to ourselves, and then we cry because of rat infestations. There are no pests among animals, people are the greatest pests - Arsovks said bitterly.
