President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said that Americans are responsible for creating and for destruction of Dayton Agreement.

Dodik said that it means nothing to him that Washington imposed sanctions on him and he stressed he will try to explain that to the new american administration.

According to him, the introduction of sanctions would not have happened if he had not received an invitation to attend the inauguration of the new President of the United States Donald Trump.

- I was delighted when i heard that Trump won't deal with other world governments. Why would Trump deal with us? We respect Dayton agreement. They say we should respect the spirit of the agreement, and we respect the written word of the Dayton agreement. You won't find a single statement i made where I am breaking the laws of Dayton agreement - said Dodik for Prva TV.

Dodik told that media is not aware what kind of torture it is when american officials put pressure.

- It is considered that we are nobody, they can do anything as a world force, they warned me on many things, but i never looked back on it. Excuse me, but there is dignity that can't be questioned. You can't say that Bosnia and Herzegovina doesn't have tripartite Presidency that Republika Srpska has to change the name. And when i say i won't, they ask me what do i want, and i say i want to go home, and they say that i will see what is the power of USA. USA ambassador asked for the church in Potocari to be demolished, i said i won't do it, a statement arrived the following day saying that i am not cooperative. I didn't demolish mosques, i won't demolish churches - said Dodik.
