Zvonko Zagradanijin from Vrba was lucky, he survived the accident with two broken ribs and bruises, when a combine ran over him during the harvest of corn.

Zvonko was harvesting corn with two-row combine. Machine stops due to malfunction, and Zagradanjin lies down below 11 tons of steel to remove the malfunction.

The moment of disregard is enough to start the aggregate with hand and it is enough for combine to start moving.

- This wheel went over my left shoulder, over stomach, right hip, tire pattern was printed over my body. I don't know what would have happen if brother-in-law hasn't stopped the machine, i would be cut to peaces - said Zvonko.

Even though he suffered massive pain Zvonko didn't lose conscious, and when ambulance came, four neighbors placed him in. During diagnostic in General hospital "Studenica" in Kraljevo there we comical situations because they could not place 160 kilo patient to scanner, and three departments moved him from the stretcher to the bed. 

- When everything was over there was laughter. They asked me, how did the combine go since i am all well.  They tell me "its not well being a fat man, but your fatness has saved you, if you were skinnier it would be all different" - said Zvonko.

Broken ribs, contusion of shoulder, leg and twist arms, Zvonko healed fast, and he shared his story with us as a warning for everybody working with dangerous agricultural machines and to open four eyes in these situations.

During the agricultural works in Serbia, tens of people are killed or mangled by agricultural machines.
