Carpenter Mile surprised everybody again: So far he donated chairs for children, and no one expected this (PHOTO)

Sad story of Savanovic family from a village Pejzic field near Potkozorja, near Banja Luka, made carpenter Mile to cross 700 kilometers to reach this family.

Family Savanovic has been living in tough conditions for years with 10 children. They had only one desire, to have a cow, so children could have a glass of milk with their breakfast in the morning. 

The head of this family, Zeljko Savanovic, lost his job, and the care about his family, sick wife and and old mother, fell on his back.

- The hardest is to survive the winter, because we have no electricity, no hot water. My wife is really sick, she has kidney problems, and i need 500 KM for her medicines. Mother is also sick and i don't even have to tell you how much it takes for 10 children. We got electricity now, however, we have water for few days, and then we don't.

When the water is gone, older children go to get it with large cans.

- There are 13 of us in the family, we cook every day, do laundry, children have to take baths. What we can do, that's the destiny, the most important is that we are healthy, and everything will be alright - said Zeljko who still has hope.

Humble by nature, and as their neighbors said, they never asked for anything. Carpenter Mile, who recently met this family, remembered their wish to have a cow in their yard, decided to fulfill their wish, with the help of good people.

- They did not ask for shoes nor computer, and children did not ask for toys. I remembered that Zeljko said that it would be great if they had a cow so they can get milk and make cheese. That is why decided to help them. We found a cow near Prijedor and we drove it to Savanovic family - said Mile.

Man of a great heart said that he has been meeting families in difficult situation for years, and he said that this family especially touched him.

- When someone says to you that they only want a glass of warm milk, you are left wondering in what kind of society we live in. I can't describe to you the happiness in the family when we arrived with a cow in the yard. I am grateful to Zeljko, our host who has lovely children, hard working, well-ordered and brought up - said Mile.

Zeljko and his wife Suzana could not hide their happiness.

- Big thanks to Mile and his team. We will have much easier time now that we have a cow, children love milk and we will make cheese. The health of my family is the most important for me, because everything can be bought with money, but not health - said this modest man.

Carpenter Mile, who justified his nickname "Man of a great heart" said that he continues his mission. Apart from building over 900 baby feeders, he is also helping elderly people by fixing their joinery.

When asked, how far will he go to help families, he said that there are no limits, but there is only lack of time, because there are a lot of families that need help, and they are not asking for it, just like Savanovic family.
