This is their first marriage.
The wedding celebration was made by Gerontological Center.
They are Miodrag Pantelic (56) and Miroslava Radosavljevic (67). They have been in the nursing home since 2013. And after four months of being friends they realized that they don't want to waste time and they started living in the same room.
- We have been alone for our entire lives, i am a girl, he is a guy, and we never stood in front of the marriage registrar. Maybe its meant to be, to meet each other in a nursing home - said Miroslava on the day of their wedding.
The groom explained that they realized they are good together, as one being, "and we should live as one being".
The newlyweds had help with the wedding from the Gerontological Center, donators and municipality.
The music was heard in the garden of the home, and newlyweds sailed into marriage waters riding in a carriage. The organizer of the wedding was Vesna Martinovic, work occupational therapist of Gerontology Center Kragujevac. Godmothers were Mira Marjanovic and Snezana Pavlovic, social workers.
Employees in the Gerontological Center were thinking about their newlyweds even today.
