The famous Cune was born in 1932 in Brzan. In 1939, he started his first year at elementary school "Vojislav Ilic". He graduated from Eighth Male Gymnasium High School on Red Cross in Belgrade, where he attended and went to school with later celebrated actors Velimir Bata Zivojinovic and Danilo Bata Stojkovic.
He got his nickname "Cune", as he explained, in the show "Balkan street" of Radio-Television Serbia, when his mother called him "Come here to get a kiss from mom" (kiss=cune).
On November 6, 1962, Predrag Gojkovic married Leposava, with whom he has two daughters, Natasa and Katarina, a well-known Belgrade actress.
The most famous song by Cune Gojkovi is "Janicar".
Songs like "Ljubav mi srce mori", "Kafu mi draga ispeci", "Jesen stize rana", "Zapevajte pesme stare", are certainly among the greatest hits.
