- After flying in the airport zone, the pilot started a low maneuver over the runway, about 10 meters from the ground and then he started climbing at the angle of 30 degrees into a school circle. While he was climbing, the airplane tilted to the right and he started the uncontrolled flight, the pilot could not steer the airplane and the craft smashed to the ground - the colleagues from the airport said.
The identity of a woman who was with him in the airplane is still unknown. Although the first information claimed that the woman was on her flight training, that wasn't the case.
Petrovic left behind his wife and two children.
According to the unofficial information, the ultralight aircraft CH-601 "Zenair" which crashed was a private property of the pilot Goran Petrovic.
The crash of the airplane was reported to the emergency ambulance at 19:18. The emergency crew tried to reanimate them, but they could only determine the death of the pilot and her copilot.
