Snow is causing chaos in Croatia: Four accidents on the highway in such a short time, there are appeals not to drive without the utter need (PHOTO)

Winter road conditions caused four traffic accidents in Croatia on the A6 Zagreb-Rijeka highway near the Sleme tunnel. Police confirmed that traffic accidents occurred due to snow. According to the first information, there are no injuries.

HAK reports that there are winter conditions on most of the roads in Gorski Kotar, including the A6 Rijeka-Zagreb highway between Kikovica and Bosiljevo 2 (from11.20 pm) and the old road through Gorski Kotar - DC3.

Traffic is prohibited for all motor vehicles that do not have the prescribed winter equipment and for trucks with a trailer (there are winter conditions on in the rest of the country and local roads, in the area of Delnica, Cabar, and Vrbovski).

The roads are wet in the Croatian coast, Gorski Kotar, Lica, middle and northwest Croatia. Due to the strong rain, a lot of water could be seen on the road.

Drivers are advised to adjust speed and the way they drive to the conditions on the road, maintaining the safe distance between the vehicles and not to go on the road without winter equipment.
