To support their friend Stefan, who is suffering with a tumor on his thyroid gland, pupils of the class VII/1 of elementary school "Knez Lazar" in Kosovo and Metohija, shaved their heads to make his friend feel comfortable when he comes back from the therapy.
The boys from the class VII/1 of elementary school “Knez Lazar” from Donje Gušterice, in Kosovo and Metohija, showed everybody whats it like to be humane and whats the importance of friendship. To support their friend Stefan, who is suffering with a tumor on thyroid gland, pupils of the class VII/1 of elementary school "Knez Lazar" in Kosovo and Metohija, shaved their heads to make his friend feel comfortable when he comes back from the therapy.

This project was realized with the support of their homeroom teacher, but also with the help of other pupils in the school.
- I gave them a proposition, since our friend is sick, we should all shave our heads to support him - said for 021 Jovan Jovanović, Friend of Stefan.
The other friends said that they wanted to show he is no different from the rest of us.
- We wanted to provide him with moral support to see this till the end - said Dušan Ničić, while Nikola Filić added that in this way they wanted to show that everybody could be struck with it and it can not be cured.

Stefan's parents couldn't muster the strength to speak about their son's illness, but little Stefan showed that he is a great fighter and in telephone conversations he said he is in contact with his friend and they prepared a surprise for him, mentioning that he can't wait to meet with them.
- I keep in touch with my friends often, i know they prepared some surprise for me, but i don't know what it is about. Right now i am in a hospital in Belgrade with my friends, the therapy is working, doctors are good to me and i hope i will be in Kosovo in a few days, back to my home, school and friends - said Stefan Tomić for "RTK live".
Stefan's treatment demands even higher expenses, but for gathering any kind of monetary help the a request and permission of parents is necessary, highlights the school principal.

- It can not be done without parents, i wouldn't like to offend anybody. Initiative should be started, if the parents are ready, they should send a request to school, and we would process that request in this and in other schools - explains principal Milorad Filipović.
The chair in first school desk is empty, by the wall in the classroom of VII/1, and his friends are waiting anxiously for Stefan to join them again.
