What story hides behind the little house on Drina river? Everybody knows about it, but no one knows how it was built on the rock (VIDEO)

Many popular foreign and domestic media wrote about the house on Drina river, built on the rock itself, but many still don't know what's the story behind this interesting mini building.

Unique structure near Bajina Basta dates from the summer 1968, when local young men swam in the cold and clean river and wanted to rest upon the rock. This wasn't so comfortable for them, so they decided to bring few wooden boards from the shore and use them to lie on them. Since the sun bothered them, they started putting the boards straight up. Little by little, real shelter on Drina was born.

On their misfortune, the river rose and on the first fall, took their boy's house, but the idea about the unexceptionable house on the rock continued to grow.

Milija Mandic - Gljiva (17), builds it a year later, with the material taken by the boat and kayaks, and he often threw material up the river and catches them and brought them to this special place.

Little house has been resisting all disasters for 50 years, and today it is enjoyed by locals, tourists and nature lovers who visit it and take a bath, sunbathe and spend some time outside civilization, but also to take pictures.
