SCANDAL: Politician scratched other cars with a key and he publicly admitted it! (PHOTO)

Well known Zadar retired politician, former parliament member and president of Croatian Social Democratic Party, Romano Mestrovic admitted destroying other cars in St Nedeljica street in Varos quarter where he lives.

He told the local journalists that he is annoyed by the owners of the cars that park there, and they don't live nearby and that is why he scratched few vehicles with car keys. He apologized to the owners of the cars he damaged, but he explained he did it out of despair, because no one from the authorities cares about the chaos on the parking in his street.

- No one cares about this, nor the police, nor the communal inspection, simply, no one. Well, did i have to do something like this in order for someone to help us residents? - asked the member of Croatian Social Democratic Party who added that his wife is having difficulties walking because she has a metal in her knee and she can't cross the street with our grandchild because everything is overcrowded with cars.

Croatian law categorized such acts as those where the damaged decide whether the perpetrator will be punished, says index.hr. It seems that the Mestrovic so far had luck because no one filed a complaint against an unknown perpetrator.

And now will anyone sue him when they know the perpetrator or will they settle with agreement, we will see.
