In the current political crisis in Macedonia, the main interest is for the "Tirana platform" not to take place because it would practically mean the beginning of creation of "great Albania".

Ivan Stoilkovic, president of Democratic party of Serbs in Macedonia (DPSM) said for "Politika".

- This platform, made in a foreign country, condemns both Macedonians and Serbs for alleged genocide against Albanians in the period from 1912 to 1956. If the request receives the the favor of citizens, Serbian people in Macedonia will be in an impossible position. At the same time this will lead Serbia into a difficult position - explains Stoilkovic.

He is a politician who is the longest-serving MP in Macedonia, who was reelected last year on the list VRMO-DPMNE.

- Everything is contentious, even the integrated border crossings towards Albania and Kosovo which are not talked about much, the change of state symbols, introducing Albanian language into the constitution which is introduction for the federalization of the country - he said.

According to him, Macedonia is in a kind of geopolitical squaring the circle.

Realizing the demands of the Albanian platforms, he added, will create a bi-national state in which there will be no room for members of the smaller nations, Serbs, Turks, Roma and Macedonians will come into a situation that I would like to describe as position of the Bosnian Muslims - Bosniaks in the current Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

- Most we can get from this entire situation are new election. You never know when you are dealing with our "western friends". Their strategic interest is to finish the job with Albanians, to solve the problem about the names of the Macedonian state and to push us into NATO. And what happens to Macedonian citizens, they don't care at all. And that is why you have eruption of discontent - said Stoilkovic.

He points out that Donald Tusk arrives to Macedonia next week, President of the European Council whose role is to put additional pressure on the Macedonian president to give mandate to the leader of SDSM, and says that as far as he is aware, President Gjorge Ivanov will not agree on that.

- After that another diplomatic artillery arrives as an exit from the current labyrinth, new parliamentary elections together with the local ones. Of course, under conditions that no staged incident occurs that could change the flow of political events - said Stoilkovic.
