The previous year has been very successful for Serbian Athlete, silver on Indoor World Championship in Portland, gold on European in Amsterdam and bronze medal on Olympic Games in Rio.

The hope of Serbian athletics opened this year in a right way, with a new national record on European Indoor Championship held in Belgrade.

Like in previous cases, Ivana Spanovic decided to go for the well-tested recipe, peace, quiet, isolation, concentration and focus on competition only. 

She announced on her Instagram account that she is "Ready for her first gold".

Ivana will start her competition on Wednesday (09.08) in qualifications which will start on 20:10. Good results in qualifications will take her to the finals two days later (11.08) in the same time.
