Tottenham already asked for Erakovic: Red Star sees him as a new Vidic, they predict a transfer greater than Grujic's! (VIDEO)

Red Star's child Strahinja Erakovic has already jumped over some career steps with lightning speed, even though he was born in 2001. He is still calmly fulfilling his obligations to the Red and Whites. Some teenagers would be dizzy from the interest of the strongest English clubs.

Erakovic already showed great maturity playing with two years older guys like Dejan Joveljic in the youth team, and he was the strongest link in the team of Milan Lesnjak during the fall, although, at the first glimpse, his physical appearance gives away a feeling of suspicion. The head reimbursed for that problem, which amazed Toma Milicevic and the rest of the club while he was still in KMF Lola in Batajnica.

Erakovic is still traveling to training from Batajnica, he is attending Tourism school part time and he appears to be the best sprout of the generation led by Mirko Bunjevcevic in the youth school.

As Telegraf finds out, Tottenham already tried to "feel the pulse" of Erakovic and his parents, who didn't care much because they wanted the natural career flow like the one Nemanja Vidic had, who has first proven with his experience and with trophies in his mother club before going abroad.

His representative Zoran Stojanovic spoke to Telegraf about his beginnings, who also confirmed that there is interest.

- I've signed him two or three years ago since I followed that generation, I have signed Stojanovic, Dedijer, and Konstatinovic as well. I was watching him for six months and he was clumsy, he didn't watch his steps, it seemed as if he was stepping askew, but I estimated that he will become his true self in a year or two when his muscles form well. People in Red Star soon recognized him and they pushed him with '99, he played for the youth team the entire half-season, they recognized his potential without any observations from me. 

Next step was going to the senior team, he has shown good potential at the preparations in Antalya as if he has long senior experience.

- They recognized him later on because he played two derbies, for cadets and youth, and Zvezdan  Terzic, Dragan Dzajic, and Mitar Mrkela were there, so they decided to switch him to the first team. There, I see that the kid is being treated phenomenally, he has confidence, so they put him to lay when Frimpong was injured. He fulfilled the expectations, and I see him besides Grujic in the future. I believe that the transfer will be on that scales. 

Grujic left to Liverpool in December 2015 for six million euros, after a very long transfer saga that shook Marakana. It was first really big transfer to the renowned club that helped Red Star breathe again as a club and to stabilize a bit.

The midfielder exploded in just one half-season playing in tandem with Mitchell Donald, and now, Milan Kosanovic, the assistant coach of the Red Star, will take care of Erakovic's proper development, who also had part forging the world gold on New Zealand.

- That is particularly great, I don't know who brought Kosanovic, was it Terzic or Mrkela, it doesn't matter, at the end, Red Star brought him. It was a great move by the administration, as the arrival of Mitar Mrkela which turned out to be a complete score.

Is Tottenham already interested in Erakovic?

- There is interest, but I think that the smartest thing to do, if we want to achieve the right price, is for the kid to become a standard player in the first team, to play six months - a year, just like Grujic did, if we are talking about six or seven million. That is my part of the job and I will decide that. 

Parents have a large share in education, and then in decision making?

 - They are phenomenal, that is one stable family, father is working in Australia, the boy was born there and that is an advantage for the English market when it comes to the passport. The father is there and the mother is here, the kid is well raised, stable, he is not living among the clouds, he is living a sports life. An entirely sane family and because of all of that, it would take a miracle for him not to become a real player. 

The fans are already comparing him to Nemanja Vidic because of his behavior on the field?

- He is on the ground with both feet, he is confident, people make mistakes when they think that someone is prepotent because he is self-confident. No, the kid is not pompous, that is a huge difference - Stojadinovic concludes.

Erakovic is also the captain of the cadet team of Serbia, he was the champion of Belgrade with younger cadets last year, and he commanded the Red Star defense in Bjeljina at the tournament of friendship, when his team didn't let a single goal.

What is most important, and what are the Red Star fans interested in, is that he signed a professional three-year contract with Red Star in September last year.
