It is snowing throughout Croatia today. According to the data from Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological Service published at 8 AM this morning, weaker snow is falling in the areas of Istria, Kvarner, Slavonia, Podravina, and in mountainous areas... Istramet published that Rovinj became white, and Sibenik as well during the night.

According to the Croatian media, the roads in these parts of the country are not well cleaned, and due to winter conditions and stormy winds, there are currently no passageways for trucks with trailers and trucks with semi-trailers from Dalmatia and Rijeka towards the interior and vice versa.

The immediate flood danger has passed for Croatia because the water levels are declining.

SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO FALL IN ENTIRE REGION

RED WARNING FOR CROATIA

Meteoalarm issued warnings for some parts of Croatia. The red meteoalarm warning was issued for the area of Kvarner, the Velebit Channel and the area of Northern Dalmatia.

The same weather will continue after the snowy day. Snow will start falling tonight, and it will spread all over Croatia during the night and tomorrow, especially over the inner parts of Croatia, and it will slowly go towards Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Similar weather is expected in the following days in Serbia, and it will be slightly warmer in Montenegro.

THE LEVEL OF RIVERS INCREASED IN REPUBLIKA SRPSKA AND IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA, RISK OF FLOODS 

The river levels in Bosnia and Herzegovina are increased and they are still threatening with floods, and the most dangerous situation is in villages between Gradiska and Kozar Dubica, where the houses on the right side of the road are flooded.

The record from 1947 was broken in Gradiska area. The level of Sava river, according to the measurements at 8:00 AM, is 883 cm, which is 153 cm above the regular defense from floods.

Prime Minister Zeljka Cvijanovic has visited the flooded areas in the municipality Srbac, and she announced the development of support programs for the most endangered municipalities.

The bank was damaged by the landslide in Kozarska Dubica but it was fixed in time and it withstood the risen Mostanica.

The emergency situation has been canceled in this municipality.

The level of Sana river in Prijedor is declining, but there still are some landslides. The similar situation is in Kostajnica, where 6 landslides are still active.
