The results of comparative studies of the labor market in three countries in the region show that respondents from Serbia are most afraid of losing their job, and the most important factor for them are human relations on the workplace, announced today by portal for employment "Infostud".

As stated, in contrast to previous years the fear of losing a job was the greatest in Croatia, according to the results of the research of this portal Serbs are most concerned about the job - 36 per cent.

Respondents from the Croatian 32 percent, from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) 24 per cent.

In Serbia, BiH and Croatia more than half of the respondents in general do not have the fear of losing their jobs.

Even though more than half of the employed respondents in the three countries, still believe that the the best way to get a job is to have a connection (54 percent), more and more students and the unemployed consider that reaching the working position the most important is work experience and acquired knowledge and skills.

Young in Serbia consider that one should start searching for job when he received his diploma, although the data shows that the most common cause of unemployment in Serbia is actually inability to find the job after the completed school.

Region continues to be unanimous regarding the selection of the employer, as the more than a third of respondents wanted to work for the company. A similar percentage of respondents would prefer to work for themselves, while only one in five respondents chose the work for the state company.

The search for a job via the Internet is still the most popular in all three countries in the region, so it is interesting that in Serbia, 90 percent of jobs is searched through specialized sites, in Croatia, 79 percent, while in BiH social networks have the primacy of with 74 percent.

The study, conducted during the 7th regional online fair for employment and training "Virtual Career and Knowledge" by Infostud, in cooperation with portals advertising jobs in Bosnia and Croatia, was attended by more than 2,500 respondents, 1,400 from Serbia, from which 52 percent are unemployed, 38 percent employed, and about 10 percent are still attending school.
