Following the decision of the court in Colmar to refuse a request for extradition of Ramush Haradinaj to Serbia, leader of the opposition Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, said that "this is a victory of Albanians" and that he is a free man to return home today.

The court's decision on the release of former Kosovo prime minister was greeted with applause in the courtroom.
- Since I am free now, I'm going to get passport in Strasbourg. I hope to be back to Kosovo today. Four months have been lost, time is valuable - said Haradinaj.
