Five Serbs secretly smuggled Albanians to Hungary and took 900 euros per person

In the international action of the Serbian, Hungarian and Austrian police, five suspects from Subotica have been arrested, who are accused of smuggling Albanians from Kosovo and Metohija to Hungary for 900 euros per person.

The citizen of Northern Macedonia S.K. (51) will be also be included in the criminal sentence, it is suspected that he is the organizer of this group. He is currently serving a sentence in prison in Subotica, for the same criminal act, and the police forces of Hungary and Northern Macedonia searched for this person. The charges also include S.C. (69) from Subotica, who was in prison in Hungary, also for smuggling.

It is suspected that the members of this group, in the period from the middle of October, to the middle of November 2018, provided transport over the state border with Hungary and further transit to the territory of Austria. 

They have organized the reception on the territory of Subotica for the persons of Albanian nationality from the Kosovo and Metohija and they allowed them to illegally cross the border to the Republic of Serbia. They gave them travel identifications, and then they entered the territory of Hungary.

The further transport was organized over Hungary to the final destination in the territory of Austria.
