Nemanja Trbojevic (20), from Belgrade and lives in Toronto Canada, certain time ago he made a documentary about bombing of Serbia in 1999.

- This documentary is focused on the people who lived in Serbia during the 1999 bombing. It started as a school project, but later i wanted to inform the public of what these people went through. I did not have much material for interview because i live in Canada, but the story has been told well - wrote on his Facebook profile, then added:

- Finally finished! Thanks to everybody on your support, i think that this subject has been neglected for long time, and its so even today. Its simply amazing how many people didn't know what was happening.

This documentary lasts for 25 minutes, and it had 4 interviewees that were there during those tragic events for our history.

- I don't know what is the exact number of casualties during the bombing, but we all felt it on out skin. A friend of my husband died, he was like a brother to him. At the end, i wanted to ran away from my own skin - said Nemanja's interviewee.

One of the people was also a man who lost a friend. Namely, his friend worked as a technician in the Radio Television of Serbia, and he had to be at work when the building was hit. Unfortunately, he lost his life in the attack.

- It was horrible, he said, i have to work.

One of the witnesses of the event is the man who had to live through the terror for the second time. He fled from Croatia to Serbia to save his head, but few years after he was fighting for his life again.

- A daughter from Canada called me and told me that we will be bombed tonight. The bombing itself was the extension of my family, national and political commitment because bombing for me started way earlier, in 1991 when i was running out of Croatia as a Serb - he said and continued.

- Every killing or bombing of civilians was clinically reported as collateral damage. At one night the whole block of the hospital was hit which could not be a civilian mark, to make the tragedy even worse, when the rescue arrived, another bomb was thrown at them. Memorable case that shook the entire Serbia was when the little girl was killed while she was on the potty.

Bombing is yet another ugly part of our history that we have to live with. In that time, many countries turned their back on us, and only a few supported us. Anyway, Nemanja's goal was to make a video which will tell the world the other side of the story. Watch the video and share your opinion in the comments below:
