Vandals in Croatia destroyed Serbian church: Graffiti appeared on a shrine in Sinj, "Ready for homeland" (PHOTO)

On the Orthodox Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in the Croatian town of Sinj, a graffiti of hatred "Ready for homeland" appeared which is the pro-Ustasha insignia, announced today Serbian Orthodox Church.

As stated, graffiti appeared yesterday on the southern wall of the temple. The case was reported to the competent authorities and the investigation is ongoing

This is not the first time that the graffiti and similar content were written on the church - the latest incident took place in 2010.

The Diocese of Dalmatia states that these, offensive content graffiti sends a negative message to the local Serbian population in Sinj and beyond, but also says a lot about the real situation in society and the position of minority communities in Croatia.
