The average net salary in Croatia paid for June amounted up to 6,005 kunas (809.8 euros), which is 4.9 percent more than in the same month in 2016, according to data from the State Statistical Office (DZS). Compared to neighbors, it is 300 euros more than Montenegro and twice as more than Serbia.

Compared to May, the average June net salary in real terms rose by 0.2 percent, the agency Hina reported.

According to the DZS data, the net salary for June amounted to 5,200 kunas (701 euros), which means that half of the employees had smaller and half had of the employees had a wage higher than that.

The highest average net salary for June was paid to air transport employees in the amount of 10,867 kunas (1,465 euros), while the lowest, 3,572 kunas (482 euros), were paid to employees in the production of clothes.

The average June gross salary amounted to 8,082 kunas (1,090 euros), which is 0.2 percent more than a month earlier and 3.5 percent more than in the same month last year.
