23 anniversary was marked since the 250.000 Serbs, mostly civilians, women and children, were expelled, and around 2.500 murdered or are still missing.

The mass was held by Patriarch Irinej.

A commemoration was held in the temple of Christ the Saviour in Banja Luka, and wreaths were placed on Perdu's cemetery. President of Republika Srpska is present, and he attended in Backa Palanka the Commemoration for the victims in the armed operation "Storm".

According to the statement, in the National Theater will hold a tribune "Days of Sorrow and Recollection".

The President of the Alliance of Serbs from the region, Miodrag Linta, also attended the commemoration in Belgrade, who said that the "Storm", and all other Croatian military actions on the territory of former Croatia and Bosnia and Hercegovina, were criminal, because the goal was to murder and to expel Serbian people from their homes, and on the other hand, massive systematic destruction of Serbian property.

According to him "it is as clear as day" that the strategic goal of Franjo Tudjman regime was the creation of ethnically clear Great Croatia and that Tudjman's regime essentially carried out aggression against Yugoslavia and Serbian people in Croatia.

As he said, it is very important that the Prosecution for war crimes prepares the cases more actively and more forcefully concerning numerous crimes against the Serbian people in the territory of present-day Croatia, Republika Srpska, and Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to start the investigations and to raise indictments.

- It is unacceptable that we don't have prosecuted crimes against the Serbian people 23 years after the war in the area of former Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina - Linta said.

He pointed to the fact that Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic rewards Croatian criminals, and that the Hague tribunal did almost nothing to prosecute crimes against the Serb people in the Territory of the former Yugoslavia.
