Nadja and Dina (11) are heroes of Novi Sad: They are buying food for stray dogs with their pocket money which they earn by selling drawings

Nadja and Dina are only 11 years old and they sell their drawings on the streets of Novi Sad, however, these girls are special because they spend their earned money - on food for stray dogs.

The two of them came up with the idea to sell drawings and while crossing the street they saw a lot of stray dogs. Girls felt very sorry for them so they figured out to give all the money they earn for the abandoned dogs.

- If we can help them, who shouldn't we? If someone has an animal and they no longer want to keep them, should they be thrown out on the street? There is always someone who can help - they told to RTV.

These girls earned 6.000 dinars (50 euros) in just a few hours and they bought dog food.

Girls are great animal lovers and they have been helping them for a long time. A woman from Pet shop said that this was not the first time that the girls were buying food here.

- They came with pocket money and bought food, snacks, and meds for animals - the seller remembered.

Nadja and Dina believe that they are helping at least a little bit with their contribution and they don't want to stop, but the girls are sending an appeal to all citizens who can help the abandoned dogs, to do so.
