Balkan people roasted 12 lambs in the middle of Berlin for Djurdjevdan, half of the city could smell it

- I was wearing trash that we gathered. The idea of this Trash wedding was to appeal to people to spend more energy on preserving the environment, instead of weddings where you spend a lot of time and energy to organize - the bride from Germany said.

The groom said that he found the "material for his suit in the dumpster.

The musicians were treated as well, but not with money, but with the face masks so they can protect themselves from the terrible smell.

This performance of the Ecology society from Tetovo was organized to send a message to the city authorities that they have to do something fast because the city is choking in the trash.

- The guests who came to the wedding brought the best presents they could find in less than an hour. And as you could see, they got the bunch of gifts of everything you can find the most in Tetovo, trash. This is a proof that there is too much of it in the city, and our goal is to influence the eco-consciousness of peoplethe organizer of the Trash wedding said, Bujar Ljuma.

The representatives of Public Utility Company from Tetovo participated in the wedding in the center of the city.

- We are supporting this action of the ecologists. It should be done more often, not just once a year. We are working every day in three shifts and we are cleaning trash, but the citizens should care about the cleanliness of their city - Dzelal Ceka said, the director of the Tetovo Utility company.

The wedding ceremony took place in a cheerful and somewhat smelly atmosphere, and after the ceremony, the gifts were picked up the Utility company workers and they were taken where they belong, in the garbage containers.
