Zagreb entrepreneur Zdravko P. (68) survived a real drama when he wanted to help his friend from Switzerland when he wanted to buy Russian ruble, which he couldn't do because he had debts in his bank. He was robbed, and then he was thrown out from his own car in front of the police station in the center of Zagreb, wearing only underpants and socks.

A trial has been announced at the Municipal Criminal court in Zagreb to diver Branko Danicic (47) from Zadar, entrepreneur Edita Kraljev (59) from Vrgada and Mario Krizancic (32) from Zagreb who pleaded not guilty for kidnapping and extortion of 400.000 euros.

Zdravko met Edita and Mario in September last year over a mutual friend. They offered to help him with the bank and that they needed 400.000 euros for that, but when they allegedly failed, and they lost money in the process, it turned out that Zdravko owned them the money, Jutarnji List reports.

Zdravko's nightmare began. Instead of the person who should get the job done, there were two unknown men, who pushed him into his own car, "Land Rover".

As Zdravko explained on the court, they told him that they were secret police and that they have been tapping his phone, that he will drive wherever they told him without messing around, or they will kill him.

- I drove in dark streets, over the dirt road to the to the embankment. We stopped and one of them told me to undress - Zdravko recalled, and the criminals stole 500 euros and 1000 Czech crowns (135 euros), 6.000 euro Rolex Daytona watch, Parker pencil with gold details and 300 euro diamond, three mobile phones and "Land Rover". A total estimated damage was more than 100.000 euros.

Zdravko said on the court that Mario threatened that he will report him to the police for raping some two women, whose photos he showed to him if he doesn't bring him the money. Zdravko reported the entire case to the police and, after a sleepless night, he met with Edita and Mario in the cafe, where a trap was placed for the two of them.

But, despite the trap, Edita and Marijo didn't show up, and Zdravko's jeep was found in the suburb Svetice.

The accused are denying Zdravko's statements and they add that he is known as a fraud.

The story is yet to unfold because the trial has just begun.
