Dragoslav Misa Ognjanovic, who was killed in front of a building in New Belgrade on Saturday night, was buried today at the New Cemetery.

The rain was pouring down in front of the chapel, and a large number of people came to say their last farewell. They wrote their heartbreaking messages on wreaths, "for our colleague and a friend".
The grieving friends and colleagues expressed their condolences in the chapel to the family of the murdered lawyer.
Sanja Papic arrived around 12 AM to the cemetery, Misa's widow, and Misa's son from his first marriage, Petar.
Former Miss entered the chapel where she silently stood by the coffin of her murdered husband, which was covered with white roses.
Among the people present were lawyers Zdenko Tomanovic, Borivoje Borovic, who came with his daughter Irena, Zora Dobricaninc, Branimir Aleksandric and Katarina Rebraca. Natalija appeared, Misa's first wife, the president of the municipality Savski Venac Irena Vujovic, Vesna da Vinca. The family Bojovic, who was represented by Misa, was also present.
There was a complete silence in front of New Cemetery.
Students of the Faculty of Law said their farewells.
According to our journalist at the scene, the chapel was full and people had to stand outside.
The son of the murdered lawyer was holding the inconsolable Sanja Papic. She was shaking and crying the whole time. Her eyes were empty and full of sorrow.
- I tried writing the speech for Misa for two days, but I tore everything up. I decided to use this speech as my last conversation with him. I hope that your spirit floats above us, that you are listening to everything that we are saying. If you remember our last meeting when you, Petar and I were together on July 26th. We were at the dinner after. I have to write down how our conversation looked like. - the lawyer Branislav Tapuskovic said and added:
- Petar wanted to go on a vacation, and Misa told him that a real lawyer doesn't have a vacation. We were sitting in a restaurant up until midnight, I was crying out of happiness for 40 minutes because Misa had so much charisma. He was special. No one had such charisma as he did, and I know a lot of people. I met him in Hague. We were friends there for five years. I had the working experience of 35 years at the time, and he was just at the beginning, he was great, a lawyer you rarely see. What he did in the Hague was enough for his work biography.
The procession slowly reached the cemetery. People tried to calm down the wife of the late lawyer.
- He was fiercely cursing and cheering, he was a real friend and a charmer. I told Petar yesterday that I can't do it, and he told me the same way you would: "You can do it". All of us will miss you a lot, your death is a terrible mistake, the reality is that he is gone and a lot will be different now. When you lose a friend, something breaks, that is how I feel it. Thank you for your love, blessings be upon you - Misa's childhood friend said.
They lowered the coffin, and Sanja was shouting "My Misa", while Petar hugged her. She was sick at one moment and they moved her to the side.
People slowly dispersed.
We recall, one of the most powerful Serbian lawyers, Dragoslav Misa Ognjanovic (57), was murdered in front of the building where he lived on New Belgrade. He was famous by being the lawyer of Slobodan Milosevic, and he represented his widow Mira Markovic, and he was also the lawyer of Luka Bojovic.
His son Petar (26) was with him at the moment when Dragoslav was shot, and he was wounded on that occasion.

Sanja Papic and Misa Ognjanovic had a daughter Lara in October. Ognjatovic was 23 years older than his wife, and he was a parent in both of his marriages.
Former Miss Sanja Papic married in Paris to the lawyer in August 2017. Sanja married Misa while she was seven months pregnant, and she gave birth on October 30th. She proclaimed this date as the happiest day of her life and the proud parents named the daughter Lara.
Misa's wife, former Miss Sanja Papic, received the news about the murder of her husband in Croatia, where she was staying with their daughter.
