Thaci claims: Macron supported the merger with Presevo, Medvedja, and Bujanovac

According to him, there will be no borders correction on an ethnic basis, but, as he says, the preserving of multiethnicity in Kosovo and "a perspective for building a civil democracy in the country"

The president of the provisional Kosovo institutions, Hashim Thaci, claims that he received the support of French President Emmanuel Macron for Belgrade and Pristina to reach the binding agreement, with the "real possibility of border corrections".

It was proposed to the European Parliament to accept an agreement on border change if Belgrade and Pristina agree: Draft on the resolution suggested by McAllister was adopted

- President Macron strongly supports the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, the possibility of reaching an agreement as soon as possible, with the real possibility of border correction, which implies the merger of Presevo, Medvedja, and Bujanovac with the territory of Kosovo, and that would open a secure Euro-Atlantic perspective for Kosovo - Thaci claimed in an interview for Radio Television of Albania, and RTK reported in Serbian.

According to him, there will be no borders correction on an ethnic basis, but, as he says, the preserving of multiethnicity in Kosovo and "a perspective for building a civil democracy in the country".

- So, President Macron strongly supports the dialogue and supports the possibility of border correction - said Thaci.

He also claims that the French President advised and proposed that the agreement between Belgrade and Pristina should be concluded as soon as possible.
