Journalists of the prestigious German magazine "Der Spiegel" visited Serbia in the desire that in its magazine they show the potential that the Serbian economy and business can offers foreign investors.

World News: Microsoft declared Comtrade partner of the year!

On the occasion of 15 years of bilateral cooperation between Serbia and Germany, this famous magazine published a supplement entitled "Serbia: On the fast track towards the E.U. integration".

This is the main reason why journalists of "Der Spiegel" visited the most influential Serbian businessmen who spoke about what Serbia has and can offer foreign investors.

On this occasion, Veselin Jevrosimovic, owner of Comtrade, spoke about the state of the IT industry in Serbia, space for further growth, EU, IT technologies that Serbia and I Comtrade can offer, but also cooperation with Germany in this field.

At the beginning, Veselin Jevrosimovic stressed that EU accession had a positive effect on the development of the IT sector, because of the apperance of foreign investors in local markets who bring with them their needs for IT-operation which are significantly greater. He added that the company Comtrade strives to always have the most educated staff, and it invests in the education of its employees.

- We live in an information society in which there is no development of the economy of a country without the growth of the IT industry. Local knowledge and resources, certainly exist and open the ability to become European IT center, and we must seize this opportunity, and for that we definitely need the help of the state -  as in the creation of business climate that it can provide, as well as encouraging IT spending. Particularly notable is the vitality of the programming work,  and the company that its revenues are predominantly realized on foreign markets. Thus, the output is in the export of components or services in the IT services - added the president of Comtrade.

Veselin Jevrosimovic told reporters of "Der Spiegel" that despite all the software solutions offered by his company, and unveiled the Tesla tablet, but also the latest smartphone which will soon be on sale, and will bear the name of the most famous Serbian scientist.

When asked why the company stands out from competitors and other companies, Veselin Jevrosimovic answered that it was a long experience of 25 years,  the most qualified personnel, but also the highest quality software solutions that the largest IT company in Eastern Europe has to offer.

As an example of success, the Comtrade President pointed out the 25-year-old close and strong cooperation with HP, as well as cooperation with Microsoft,  Cisco, IBM, Intel, and many other international companies.

Veselin Jevrosimović also noted that in recent years, Germany and Serbia have established very close cooperation in the IT industry.

When it comes to cooperation with Germany, the Comtrade President noted the cooperation of the company with the auto industry, which is the strongest industry in the country.

At the very end of the interview, Veselin Jevrosimović emphasized that Serbia is open to new investments and invited everyone to visit our country, because it will definitely have a positive surprise and change the opinion they imposed on the media in previous years.
