The inspector says that the order was made on the basis of satellite image of Geodetic Authority in Belgrade, while Jovan Kovacevic, Head of Municipal Administration in Lucani, explains that this was not a special attack on Orthodox temples in the old part of Serbia.

- It is just one step in the process of recognition of buildings that still do not have papers. And under the law on the legalization of all buildings, not only religious, that are built without permits. All municipalities in Serbia are obliged to make a list of illegally erected buildings, and up to 27 November. If the owner does not have a building permit of the inspector, by the said Act, must issue a decision on the demolition, but it is not put in action until the decision on legalization is done - said for the Politics Kovacevic, who is originally from Vica.
