Letter of a high school girl slapped the region: You would give us knives and riffles to kill each other, like you did 20 years ago

This high school girl is not even old enough to vote, and so young, she already thought a lesson to politicians and everybody spreading hatred on Balkans. She published a status, and hopefully, she made many people think. Kristina Sivonjic, student of Secondary vocational school in Jajce, in her letter, she talks about pervasive hatred between the people in the region.

We are reporting the entire letter to you:

"Welcome to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Country of nationalism. Welcome to the state divided to Croats, Serbs and Bosniaks, Catholics, Orthodox and Muslim.

Welcome to the state where they convert children of 7-8 years against each other, right at the start they forbid them to hang with their peers of the different religion.

Welcome to the state where older people fill up the heads of children with something they haven't lived through.

They teach children to hate someone else of other religion, and they don't know why? 

We, children are living in a fairy tale, it is no matter whats your name, what you believe in and to what God you are praying. But that is why we have our grownups: Fathers, mothers, grandparents... that scare us with different wonders and harm every fairy tale.

We are building friendships that nationalists want to demolish saying: "We haven't killed each other 20 years ago for our children to be friends now or to go to school together, God forbid".

Bravo! You are some role models! I mean, if you can, you would give us knives and riffles and told us to kill each other, like you did 20 years ago. But you see for yourself, its not working. You who are saying that you are this and that and more important than someone else, who are you telling it to?

You can keep for yourself what you are. Pray to whatever god you want, but respect others. Why do you complicate things that are actually so easy?

People whose time is to die want to divide us, youth, the children. Who are already with one foot in the grave. Well people, its better to spend your old days in peace, without thinking how you can destroy the future of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Your time has come to an end. You are just a shadow following the youth. Gentleman, remember that the world remains to us, the children, and now look well and think what will you do about that?...

You will die eventually, and we will still remain together...
