The murder of Aleksandar Knezevic Knele will remain unsolved forever, after being declared a cold case three months ago. All records and evidence were burned, and as Telegraf finds out - this was the most difficult for his father, Dusan Knezevic, known as Buca Al Capone

The older Knezevic handled with the entire court procedure very badly, which lasted for more than 25 years.

It was not clear to him how was it possible for the cameras in the hotel to "fail and that the tapes with recordings of people entering hotel went missing".

We recall that Dusan Knezevic claimed that general rehearsal was done for the murder of his son.

- Giska, Beli and my son were threatened long before he was killed. Ten days before the murder they had general rehearsal when special forces broke into the room in "Hyatt" hotel and made them lie down with their hands on the floor. Then they explained they were checking the alarm devices, but I am sure they were just checking how will Knele react in front of the police - said Knezevic at the time.

Knezevic was killed on October 28th 19992, in the apartment number 331 of the hotel "Hyatt" on New Belgrade. The creator of the famous Diesel-generation of tough guys was lying on the ground facing down, and the message was written on the mirror "number 1" with blood. This message hasn't been decoded till this day.

One of my friends from the police told me that he heard a message on his police radio on that fateful night: "Knele is going alone" - added Dusan Knezevic after the murder.

Those who were close to Knele said that he never opened the door of hotel room easily. However, he let the murderer in his room on that fatal day, so it is presumed that the murderer was someone he knew or he had trust in him.

- Darko Stanojevic was in hotel "Hyatt" on that fatal night. I was trying to reach him later on and to find out what was happening on that night, but he was murdered in Germany - said Knezevic.

It was said about Knele's father that he was a member of the old generation which solved everything in a fair way. He got his nickname because he often went to the cinema to watch gangster movies and he loved Al Capone.
