Serbia is in the semifinals of the Eurobasket! Eagles won against Italy in quarterfinals with 83:67, and they will play against the Russia in the fight for the finals, which were previously better than Greece in quarterfinals.

Semifinals will be held on Friday from 20:30 while Spain and Slovenia will play the day earlier in the semifinals.
Bogdan Bogdanovic dominated again in our team, who scored 22 points, and Macvan had double digits, 13 points, together with Lucic 11 points. Belinelli had 18 and Datome 15 among Italians.
Serbia started the match nervously and didn't have points for almost 5 minutes, but the Italians couldn't get more points and they had only 5 points in the lead. The defense of our team was on the level, and the attack started working in the second part of the first quarter, so Serbia won first quarter with 18:17.
Serbia reached two digits of lead in the second quarter. They won it with 26:16. That is when we reached first three points, while the Italian's shot for three points stopped which resulted in the score 44:33 in the half time.
Our team kept that difference till the end. Our basketball players reached +15 in the third quarter, but the Italians got closer at one part, they managed to reduce the gap, put Macvan started scoring and the pulled the team and managed to keep the difference of +10 until the last quarter.
Eagles managed to control the match till the end. Italy gave hints that they could return to the game at one moment when they reduced the score to +8, but then Bogdanovic scored three points, and they understood they have nothing to hope for anymore.
Until the end of the match, Serbia has increased the difference.
